Little Alice was rescued from Harris County animal shelter at only 14 weeks old. Not long after the foster got her home did she start getting sick and we quickly realized she had distemper. She was hospitalized for several days but the vets were unable to save her since she was too far into her illness. The foster had her cremated and received this wonderful poem with a lock of her hair as well as her paw print and engraved wooden box. RIP Alice.
